Dear Senior Parents,

After Prom is a fabulous party for our seniors planned and hosted by all of us - the Class of 2017 parents.  It provides a safe, alcohol-free venue for them to celebrate their success.  It is a school sanctioned event free for all seniors with or without a date, and whether they attend the Prom or not.  Prom and After-Prom take place the evening of Saturday, May 6th, 2017 with the After-Prom Party being at East from midnight-4:30 a.m.

East High will be transformed into a magical place that is unrecognizable filled with carnival games, entertainers, a mock casino, lots of food and prize give-aways throughout the night.  This is a memorable event that all seniors will want to attend and enjoy with their classmates before graduating, and even seniors who do not go to prom usually want to attend After Prom.

To accomplish this fabulous event, we are calling upon each and every senior family to help.  Whether you’ve signed up to volunteer or haven’t had a chance to do so, please look over the list of Committees and descriptions and click here www.SignUpGenius.com/go/4090A45AEAA2FA2FD0-committee to sign up to help! In addition to signing up for being on a committee, we will also need many volunteers to staff the event that night.... please mark your calendars.  Right now our focus is on volunteers that can help plan and execute this event by being on a committee, a large space to build (any commercial realtors have an idea?), and people who enjoy food, music and creating events that our kids enjoy.
